Holiday Blues
Yet another holiday evening outfit, we’re getting very close to the end of them now though, I promise!! I’d forgotten how much I love this dress until I wore it on holiday – I bought it about 3 or 4 years ago from the Topshop January sales, and I’m pretty sure it’s a Motel dress. I don’t get very many occasions to wear it because it’s halterneck and pretty short, so it’s more a going out dress or a holiday dress. But I think the shape is really flattering on me, and I really like the colour of the blue skirt, particularly because it matched the blue wristband I was forced to wear (although mine was too big and I could slip it off =D)!

I was a bit confused yesterday to receive a comment on my post in my high waisted retro style bikini telling me I should be more adventurous in what bikinis I wear. I had a lot of lovely comments (thank you for that!), and this wasn’t actually a negative one, but I was confused as I though that bikini was actually adventurous, when most people are out there in a string or triangle bikini, it takes a certain amount of courage and a bit of adventurousness to go out in a high waisted bikini that covers you up a bit more!
Anyway, look out for another post coming up later =D I have so many outfit posts from home to get posted but unfortunately they’re stuck on a laptop without a fan. The fan has arrived today though, so don’t worry! I’m just waiting for Ben to get home to help me put it back in =)

I have this dress but in purple and haven’t worn it in so long! You’ve just reminded me about it 🙂 Think I’ll have to get it back out if this weather continues. You look lovely in it! x

The dress is really fab and the blue sets it of beautifully.ha I like how you justify wearing short dress on holiday is fine. The bikini WAS adventurous cos you are right the norm is the usual bikinis.
