I have managed to get my blog so well organised over the last couple of days!! I wrote out a load of notes in a notebook on things I want to achieve for it, a few posts for the next days, an article for my uni newspaper, I’ve got a couple of guest posts on other peoples’ blogs coming up soon too, I’m pretty much sorted! Well, that is, apart from the actual photography. Because I’ve got no tripod up here and I’m using Ben’s camera, it’s been really difficult to do my outfit photos – that camera will not balance on things!! So I finally got Ben to do me some outfit photos this weekend, but when we were doing the first set, this man started pointing at me out of the window and literally laughing out loud. I honestly don’t know what was so funny, but it really annoyed Ben, which made me grumpy, so we ended up back inside. I had to do 4 different Valentine’s outfits for my uni newspaper (hopefully I’ll be posting them soon!), so we ended up doing them inside – Ben set up a ‘studio’ for me in the spare room using lamps stuck at all angles in drawers, and to be honest, the photos aren’t that awful for indoor ones.

So today we had Ben’s sister, Beth, round for lunch. She lives up in Newcastle too, so it’s pretty easy to have her round. We made a paella which was so yummy (recipe coming up soon!) followed by ganache, noms. This is pretty much a thrown together outfit, but I love pairing this blouse with burgundy colours (see here). Technically I wasn’t wearing these shoes today because, well, I haven’t been outside so I haven’t needed any shoes!! But they went, so I put them on =D So, how is it that everywhere in the UK has got proper snow today and we haven’t?! It snowed here yesterday for a couple of hours, settled a little, and has completely melted today!! Apparently at home there’s a good 4 or 5 inches too!! I don’t really want snow because I hate going out in it, but it would be pretty for a few days.
