Okay, I decided I’m going to share my exciting news with you all now – I have a new job!! A little while ago I started thinking that teaching wasn’t quite for me – I’d got a bit of a, I don’t want to say negative, but not positive impression of it over the time I’d been there, mostly because of my illness and operation which meant I was working really hard while feeling quite poorly a lot of the time, then afterwards I got the infection and tried to carry on working through that, which didn’t really help! But basically, I didn’t feel I ‘clicked’ with teaching, so I came to the decision that I wanted to leave. There was no point in me continuing my GTP (teaching course) when I wouldn’t use it, so I handed in my notice and have now finished at the school. I’ve been super lucky though because I managed to get a new job really quickly at a fairly local Digital Agency which specialises in SEO and web design. They were looking to reach out more to bloggers, so seemed like the perfect job for me! I’m so excited to be doing something in an industry that I absolutely love, and I’ll be finding a lot more about the workings of companies with bloggers which is really interesting, I already learnt a lot just at the interview! I’m starting there on Friday, so in just less than a week, so I’m super excited to get going =D And I’m already booked in to go to a conference the next day in Leeds, so I expect there’ll be a lot more things to learn there!

Anyway, onto the outfit! This jumper is getting pretty old and scruffy now! I should really do a remix post on it soon, I’ve worn it far too many times, but this colour seems to be one of my favourites, particularly around this time of year, and it just seems to go with everything. And the skirt is the new one I told you about yesterday – tribal, do you think? Or Aztec maybe? My sister bought a top in the exact same print and she’s wearing that today! I wanted to take a picture to put up but she wouldn’t let me. And I’m wearing my new shoes again, same as yesterday. I was a little worried about them as they’re a little bit stiff and thought they would rub my heels, but I wore them this morning to go to the supermarket and round a few shops and they were fine, they’re good and sturdy so hopefully I won’t mess them up as quickly as I usually do!!
Speaking of shopping this morning, I accidentally bought a few more clothes in Matalan, and Sainsburys, oops. Although they had 25% everything in Tu at Sainsburys today and I saw a nice top so I bought it – I do need new tops!! And one of the items in Matalan was a top….the other two were dresses but don’t tell anyone, sshh!! I’m sure you’ll see them soon too =D

That title could be taken two ways – ‘pasty’ as in pasty coloured, which is what I was actually intending when I wrote it, I thought I’d written pastel waaay too much recently, so pasty pink would be better. But then it also occurred to me that it could be ‘pasty’ as in the food,…

We have even further problems now: not only is my camera still away on ‘holiday’, my laptop has also decided it doesn’t want to live any longer, it has now gone through 4 chargers because it keeps ruining them and a new battery, and another charger has just died, so I currently have no access…

Look, I’m outside again!! To be honest with you all, I have had my tripod for the last week now, but not my camera, and though it fits onto it, I felt a little silly putting a teeny tiny camera on top of a massive tripod!! And I’ve also been a bit wary about doing…

    Hen Weekend

I thought I’d better give you a proper update with photos at some point, so I’m squeezing in a quick post now!! This last weekend I went to Durham with my mum and sister for my soon-to-be aunty’s Hen Weekend. We spent the afternoon in the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room, then in the…

  • Date Night Much?

Ben and I aren’t the best at doing “Date Nights” – to be honest, we’d probably rather stay in with one of the Finest meal deals from Tesco or cook something ourselves like steak and chips. There’s also the fact that Ben doesn’t like films, so the cinema is out of the question – he…
