Super Duper Clothes Swap!

As I mentioned yesterday, I am VERY excited because I received my first item from the Clothes Swap that I’m taking part in with 15 other bloggers. I was a bit grumpy yesterday because I was still a bit tired from my poorliness over the weekend, so when I got back from a lecture, I was very happy to discover a parcel in my letter box from America, from Charlotte at girlnextdoorfashion with the most amazing dress in it!

I’m sorry I still look a bit of a mess without makeup on, and my hair is just a mess too! I need it cutting really and I want it dyed again, but maybe professionally because for the last 3 years I’ve been doing it myself, well when I say that I really mean either my mummy or Ben does it =D But I want it done properly, I haven’t even had it cut since….easter maybe?? I can’t even remember! Maybe even last Christmas haha! It’s because my mum wants me to pay for it now, and I just can’t afford it =(
I really like this dress!! I think I might do another couple of outfits with it before I send it on to its next owner, I’ve already planned a couple, involving my denim jacket and some new boots Ben has bought me as an early birthday present…not without hints, well slightly more than hints…well technically yes I took his card and ordered them myself after demanding he buy them for me =D Hee hee! But I think they will go perfectly with the dress, I’m expecting them to come today, they’re ordered to Ben’s work so everyday when he comes home I’m like, “Did they come yet?? Why not?!”
This dress is just so typically me! It’s got the floral (of course!), the lace and just the general shape of it, it fits me perfectly! Although as Charlotte mentioned, it is very short, so I wore my longer coat over it just in case it rides up a bit far =D I paired it with this cute necklace (present from Ben) and cheapo Primark belt (ÂŁ1!), and I really liked how it turned out!

  5. oh it looks so so so pretty!!! i love how you styled it!! i am so excited for the blog swap oh i had a question i am going to send you the skirt this week for sure but i was wondering since it is late november which address i should mail it to (i know there was two on the flicker group thing) and i think it might take a little while to get from Canada to the Uk. so i just thought i would ask to make sure i didn’t send it to the wrong place!!
