Floral Maxi

How lovely is this maxi dress?! I think it’s beautiful! Yes, very slightly granny-ish, okay maybe more than very slightly, but I love it, it feels so feminine and delicate to wear. I’m really really loving my maxis at the moment, skirts and dresses, I want more of them! You see I’m only going to have this one for a little while (yes Lovely Ones, here’s the first dress provided by Matalan!), it’s going to be going round the other clothes swap girls soon =)

Random but, anyone else love Indian takeaways?? Because I do, and we’re having one for tea tonight, yay!! It’s not good that I’m so excited by that, is it?! And this afternoon, fingers crossed, I’m hoping that Ben will let me go have a look in the charity shops in a nearby town. My mum and I popped in one yesterday and I saw a pretty skirt, so I’d like to go back and have another look at it, but I’m not even sure if they’ll be open today =S

It feels like I’ve been doing looooads of posts recently, although I technically have done, you haven’t seen any of them! I’ve been getting my posts up and ready for Florida (4 days!!!), I’ve got all sorts prepared for you, including a new feature on Sundays, book reviews! I don’t know if anyone’ll be interested in them, but I’ll see how it turns out, because I really love reading and I want to share it with you all!!

I talked a bit in my last post about how I was having problems with blogging lately – not feeling good enough with my pictures and forgetting why I blog in the first place. This set of outfit photos is one of the ones that I looked at and didn’t want to post, despite actually…

Dress: c/o Voodoo Vixen Strappy Heels: Primark I didn’t exactly take many outfit photos in Florida (make that a total of 2, ummm maybe 3, over a fortnight and a half!), but here’s one set of photos I did manage to take! And this evening has quite a story behind it too. When we were…

  • Pretty Pastels

Today is yet another Spring day perfect for pastels, and I’m so happy about it!! I received these amazing aqua coloured jeans from Matalan, although like to think they’re a little mint greenish, and straight away decided they needed to go with my pastel pink Primark jacket, despite this outfit being very similar to one…

Now I know you always see all these bloggers in their vintage clothes and whatnot, and I’ve always been so jealous of them. We don’t have many vintage-y type shops where I live, nearest is 25 miles away, and it’s not even that good =( The good one closed down a couple of years ago….

  1. It’s so pretty! I really like the floral print. There’s something about a floral maxi dress that makes me feel all girly hehe
Oh, and I love Indian food in general. Yummeh!

  2. You’re dress is lovely and the cardigan looks great with it. I love a good Indian too! You can’t beat a good butter chicken and garlic naan:)

  3. I really love maxis too, but I am having wardrobe issues with the ones I already have. After losing weight, they all sit much lower on my body now and I wind up treading on half of them. But, I just acquired a sewing machine and I can do some hemming!

I have to admit, I often see older ladies wearing gorgeous clothes and wishing I had the items, and then wondering if I should be basing my fashion desires on the elderly heh.

  4. I LOVE this dress, you look great. I want to know how the top is? Is it sleeveless? It’s so pretty! Eek, can’t wait to get a go with it! hehe. Also, looking forward to your book reviews. ^^ xxx
