Autumn Leaves

IMG_5390

This jacket is entirely Charlotte’s fault, she forced me to buy it, I swear!! Actually I’m pretty proud of us for not buying more when we were in London – usually if I’m let loose on shops, especially if they’re London shops that don’t exist any further North, and if I haven’t been able to do proper shopping for over a month, I will go crazy. But this, and some books and lemonade which don’t count, is all I bought!! And it was from Forever 21 – yes, Forever 21, in England, my first visit!! I had to buy something =)

Although I love this outfit, the photos didn’t come out very well =( I seem to be moving or just looking grumpy in nearly all of them! Probably because I made Ben do them and he didn’t really want to. I’m going to have to practice using self-timer on my camera, I haven’t had to use it for outfit photos so far because I’ve been at home and forcing people to take photos for me, but I’m going to have to do it in Newcastle.
Anyway, the outfit – so as I mentioned, the North is apparently ten degrees colder than London at all times. I finally understood why I see so many British bloggers in outfits minus tights and cardigans at this time of year: they’re not being brave, it’s actually just that warm for most of them!! So because of this I now declare that it is autumn, so on my first autumn day I decided to wear the most autumnal colours I could possibly find, and this is the outfit that came out of it =)

Rust Jacket: Forever 21
Floral Dress: Zara
Bow Belt: Primark
Tights: New Look
Shoes: Topshop
These photos are actually from Saturday, so I’m a bit late posting them. But yesterday I decided to wear the jacket again to work and paired it with a new (by new I mean old: eBay…) Primark black velvet dress. I really loved the outfit but it was pouring down when I got home and far too dark inside to take photos, so the outfit never got photographed =( I may rewear it one day just so I can get it on my blog because I liked it!! Oh and also you may have noticed my braid – apparently I am a child but hee hee it’s fun!! One of my souvenirs from Greece.
