Dom-Com by Adriana Anders – Spicy Romance Book Review
This was a very interesting and fun read with a dive into a different world!

Rae is a “baby sub”, going to a club for the first time. She discovers it’s far more welcoming than she could have ever imagined, and after a speed dating type event, she meets a dom who’s not even part of it with an interesting experience where he barely even touches her. It’s only when she goes to work after the weekend that she discovers he’s the new consultant that’s got them all back in the office after working from home for 3 years…and she’s sharing an office with him. Tensions are immediately high!
The workplace romance vibe was super fun – I haven’t yet read another romance in this setting, especially with a dom/sub relationship (aside from 50 Shades of Grey, I guess that kind of fits that brief). It gave a very edge of your seat kind of tension that made it a fun read.

The chemistry between the characters was brilliant, they were practically jumping off the page. I also loved that there was more to it than just them too – there was a very strong family element, plus friendships and a workplace that sounded like very cool vibes (a little like mine!). Plus there were a couple of minor underlying plots, like what’s going on with her dad and his elevated heartrate? And why was her best friend being so evasive?

It’s not just your standard kinky romance, it’s a bit more than that and made a quick, light read. I’ve already recommended it to a friend!
