Florida Part 4: Florida’s Space Coast

As a little break from all the hecticness and mania of the parks, we decided to take a little ‘day-off’ visiting Florida’s Space Coast. We were actually really lucky to go at that time because we were there less than two weeks before the final Shuttle Launch, so we got to see the shuttle (at a distance of course) on the pad ready for launch. The building behind Ben and I is where they assemble the shuttle and all its lauchers and whatnot, and it is apparently the largest building in the world by it’s footprint, and is so big it could house the Statue of Liberty!
We spent most of the day around the Kennedy Space Center, pretending we were astronauts (see photo above!), then late afternoon we left and went to Cocoa Beach. We had a wander on the beach, but it was a little cloudy, visited the Ron Jon Surf Shop where I bought a bag (I have a story about this bag actually!) then went for tea at a really lovely restaurant overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway where we saw dolphins and had a really lovely meal, I had scallops that were amazing and I was too busy enjoying them to take pictures!!

Sunglasses: Dior (ahem…fakes from Turkey!)
Lace Back Top: H&M
Red Belt: Forever 21
Striped Skirt: Forever 21
Handbag: c/o Matalan
Flip Flops: Walmart
The skirt and belt are new additions to my wardrobe from Florida, and my visits to Forever 21. I really love the clothes there, it’s sort of half way between Primark and New Look I think, but with the novelty of the fact that there’s currently only one in England!
Ok, the next two pictures need an explanation! I’m snapping away pictures and my dad asks if they’re going on my blog, to which I replied, some of them. So he decided he needed to know how to pose like me if he was going to be on the blog, so here I am teaching him (it didn’t turn out well!):

And finally some ones of us from the restaurant. We went out and sat on the docks outside when we were done eating.
