I bet you’ll be getting fed up of this dress and denim jacket soon! Well, there’s very likely to be more posts with the jacket because currently I should be away on holiday, and I’ve packed it to go with me! So all going well, and if I haven’t lost my luggage, then I’ll probably be wearing it at least a few times =D We’re really lucky to be allowed to take 40kg (yes, really, 40kg!!) with us!! Usually it’s like 20kg, which is just about alright for me. But I’m very likely not going to be near the 40kg mark, although I am planning on buying some things over there ;D
I wore this outfit when we went out for a meal for my dad’s birthday. Of course, I was overdressed as always, but at least I wasn’t wearing heels! I was so pleased to go to the place we did for the meal because it’s owned by the same people who owned what used to be my favourite pub because it made the best starter ever, mushrooms in a cheese and breadcrumb sauce. It doesn’t sound that amazing, but really, it is. Anyway, that pub closed, but they are now doing that dish at the other pub, so I was reeeeally happy to be able to order it again!! I also had scallops as my main course, which were amazing. Hoping that we’ll be going back there soon!!

I really wanted to take this dress on holiday with me, but I thought it probably wasn’t practical enough! If I haven’t mentioned already, we’re going on a camper (RV) trip to Canada and America, starting at Vancouver, heading over to Vancouver Island, then into Washington state (including Forks haha), down the coast into Oregon, then back up via the mountains into Canada again where we’re meeting my great aunt and uncle before heading home. It’s a bit fancier than normal camping in tent, but I wouldn’t go so far as to call it ‘glamping’! We usually spend most of our time on these trips wandering round forests, driving through mountains, exploring random towns, stopping at any viewpoint we find, sitting round camp fires and showering in some pretty awful places! But it’s all really good fun =D I have so many stories I could tell you from these trips, and I’m so glad to have my big camera to take with me this time to document all the memories – again, you’re gonna get fed up of my holiday snaps!!
So, speaking before I left now, I’ve been pretty busy packing for that, packing up pretty much everything I own to go to my new house (yay!) and preparing lesson plans and covers for while I’m away, but maybe I’ll save you some details for the next post that I’m going to schedule now =D Hope you’re enjoying the scheduled posts so far!
Love,

It may possibly, finally, be Spring…maybe just! It hasn’t been warmer than maybe 15C, but still, that’s better than snow and freezing weather. I’ve only had one day so far this year without a coat, but we’re getting there! I haven’t really felt like transitioning into spring clothes at all this year, not at all…
