The Pumpkin Pie Book Nook by Harper Graham – Romance Book Review
I was so excited to find out that book 4 wasn’t the final one for the Maple Falls series. We’ve done every season and come back around to fall, and as that’s my favourite, I was very happy! Like the rest of the series, I’m obsessed with this book. Dare I say, I prefer this series to the similar (but more well-known) Dream Harbor series?

Robyn is in Maple Falls temporarily on a break from teaching at Yale to watch over her friend’s bookstore. She’s originally from Maple Falls, and the bookstore was once in her family. She discovers a mystery to be solved that somehow manages to involve the whole town, including single dad Tyler.
While I love a lot of romance tropes, the single dad one might just be coming up as a favourite for me at the moment. I LOVE when that bond is created between not only the two people in the relationship, but also with the single dad’s child. Emma in this book was such a sweet and funny character.

Robyn and Tyler were an excellent match. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop, even though they tried to hold out and not let it happen. There’s a whole lot of yearning and some attempts to be secretive, but I loved the way that the small town vibe quickly brought their relationship public!
As always in Maple Falls, it’s not just the main characters that make it, but the entire cast. We’ve got the older ladies bumbling around, a new book club, the town’s official social media manager and more – they all add to the world to make it fun and believable. I want to visit it!

Harper Graham’s writing is so addictive. I’ve read every book in the series so far and will continue to pick them up – I can’t wait for more!
Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the publishers for an ARC of this book.
