Guest Post: Charlotte from Girl Next Door Fashion

May I introduce you all to the lovely Charlotte from Girl Next Door Fashion, another wonderful girl, and the creator of The Lovely Ones!

Hi! I’m Charlotte of Girl Next Door Fashion and I’m guest posting for Sian today!! I’m a 21 year old blogger from the UK, but I’m currently studying abroad in Minnesota, USA. I like to think of my blog as a kind of travel diary of my adventures on my year abroad, and of course, what I wore along the way!

I have to be honest, being abroad I really miss the British High Street. I miss bargains in Primark and necessities from New Look and of course my favourites, TopShop and Miss Selfridge. One great thing about the US though is the number of wonderful sites for online shopping. After what felt like months of admiration from afar, it was great to finally be able to purchase something from Modcloth! I got this dress for my Birthday and I absolutely love it. I love floral dresses and I absolutely love red, so this dress was perfect for me! Last time I wore this dress I paired it with a leather jacket and red heels, so this was more of a girly, daytime look.

While you guys in the UK seem to have been having lovely weather for a while, this is probably the second or third really nice day we’ve had here in Minnesota since October. We have a really long, bitterly cold winter here, but the autumn was lovely. I can’t wait for Spring to really kick in. I absolutely love it here. Duluth, where I live, is absolutely beautiful. It’s right over Lake Superior (the world’s largest fresh water lake, in surface area) and I never get sick of how gorgeous it is.

If you are at all interested in studying abroad or my experiences being a British girl in America, please go check out my blog! Of course, if you just like fashion, I have lots of that too!!
Thanks for reading!

  1. What is the point of posting 10 pics of the exact same thing? The 1st and 6th pics are the same except your arm moved. Yawn.

  2. Boo anon, boo. 🙁

Anyways, I think Charlotte looks very pretty in the floral dress – I love how the red always matches with the flats! 🙂
